Birthday decoration price in Pune: what a setup actually costs
Updated 2 October 2026 · Pune
A home birthday decoration in Pune costs between ₹1,399 and about ₹13,500, and most families book in the ₹2,299–₹5,999 band. The price covers balloons, props, travel and the decorator's work. There is no separate delivery fee, no labour charge and no per-hour billing.
What decides the price
Almost all of it is balloon count and wall area. A setup with 80 balloons on one wall and a foil name sits at the bottom of the range; a 200-balloon arch with a frill curtain backdrop, number foils and floor work sits in the middle; ceiling work, flower panels and anything that needs a frame built on site sits at the top.
Two things that do not change the price: how far into Pune you are, and how long the decorator takes. Travel inside our 30 km radius is included, and the setup is priced as a job, not by the hour.

What ₹1,399 to ₹1,999 gets you
A single feature wall. Expect a frill curtain or ring backdrop, 80 to 120 balloons, a foil name or age number, and a small amount of floor balloon work. This is the right budget for a flat where one wall in the hall is the photo spot.
- One wall, roughly 6 by 7 feet of finished area
- 80–120 latex balloons plus 1–2 foil balloons
- Name or number foil, up to about six letters
- Setup in 45 minutes to about an hour and a half
What ₹2,000 to ₹3,500 gets you
The band most birthdays land in. A 150–200 balloon arch, a layered backdrop, multiple foils, fairy lights and floor balloons, and usually a second element such as a photo wall or a cake table.
What ₹4,500 and above gets you
Premium work: ceiling balloon clouds, flower and balloon combinations, printed or fabric backdrops, themed props built to the character rather than printed on a sheet, and setups that cover a room rather than a wall. Setup time moves towards two hours and sometimes needs two decorators.
Add-ons and what they cost
Everything in the list price is fixed, and add-ons are optional extras chosen on the product page — extra balloon packs, fairy lights, photo clips, LED name boards, cake tables. They are shown with their own price before you book, so the figure you confirm on the call is the figure you pay.
How Pune prices compare
Decorators who quote per hour or add travel on top often end up higher than the list price for the same balloon count, because a home setup realistically occupies a decorator for most of a two-hour window including loading and clearing. Compare on finished balloon count and wall area, not on the headline figure.
Ways to spend less without it looking cheaper
- Pick one wall and do it properly instead of spreading a budget across two.
- Choose latex-heavy designs; foil balloons are the expensive component.
- Take a weekday morning slot — the same setup, an easier day for the team.
- Skip the printed backdrop and use a frill curtain, which reads better in photos anyway.
- Use your own cake table and keep the budget on the wall behind it.
