Planning guides

What a setup costs, which ideas work in a flat, and how to run a surprise — written from our own Pune catalogue.

  • Birthday decoration price in Pune: what a setup actually costs

A home birthday decoration in Pune costs between ₹1,399 and about ₹13,500, and most families book in the ₹2,299–₹5,999 band. The price covers balloons, props, travel and the decorator's work. There is no separate delivery fee, no labour charge and no per-hour billing.

  • Balloon decoration ideas that work in a real Pune flat

The balloon ideas that work in a flat are the ones built against one wall: a half arch on a frill curtain, a ceiling cloud over the cake table, and a floor spill underneath. Spreading balloons around the room looks thinner in photos than concentrating them in one frame.

  • First birthday decoration at home: what to plan and what to skip

For a first birthday at home, build one photo wall with the age number, pick a pastel or single-character theme, and book the setup to finish before the child's afternoon nap ends. Keep balloons above reach and skip anything with small detachable props.

  • Anniversary surprise ideas at home, from a room setup to a terrace dinner

The three anniversary surprises that work at home are a decorated bedroom with petals and a ceiling cloud, a candle light dinner on a balcony or terrace, and a milestone number backdrop for a 25th or 50th. All three are set up while your partner is out, inside a 2-hour slot.

  • How to plan a surprise birthday party at home

To plan a surprise birthday at home, book the decoration slot for a window when the person will definitely be out, arrange guests to arrive after the decorator leaves, and keep one room dark for the reveal. Booking two days ahead is enough; same-day slots close three hours before they start.
